APPLICATIONS
The model MGTS-30XX series was specifically designed to meet the tighter
space requirements of today's over-heat and temperature control applications.
As the result of our stringent testing program, the bimetallic elements have
been specifically selected to provide fast response under a various temperature
conditions. The low internal resistance of the model MGTS-30XX series makes
them suitable for use as an over-charge protector under a short circuit condition
as well. Now, one compact thermal switch can economically provide protection
in these two areas of concern, even where size is a critical factor. For
example, this device can be applied both over heating and over cooling protection
in CPUs or any other ICs; it can be used to control a fan ON and OFF in PC
or notebook computer to cool down temperature and save energy and extend
battery working time, and so on.
